As per the data of Ministry of Home Affairs, the data of crime against women especially in Rape and molestation have observed stark increase in 2015 – 17. In Uttar Pradesh, the number of registered rape cases were 3025 were in it was 4816 in 2016. Keeping in mind the data Hindu Rights Watch has launched a Durga Program in rural India. Under this program workshops are conducted on periodically within the village.
On Aug 2018 in Rampur a workshop was organized to provide awareness among young Hindu girls pertaining to various crimes against women at village level and urban settings. Since ethnic cleansing is nothing new to India and its state’s community and the women are provided with enough knowledge of the history and current affairs pertaining to such heinous crime taking place around.
With the help of different tools (activities) we provide them correct knowledge and awareness.
